Acts 5:29

- "Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men."

WWJD is the first thing that popped into my head after reading this passage. The apostles answer that we should obey God other than men is a mindset that Christians need to have. Looking back in the Old Testament, there are many examples of people who did what God told them to do even if it went against what man said. Because at the end of the day, we need to ask if what we did was for God, or for mans eyes. Of course, this doesnt mean that we dont do anything that man tells us to, how in the world would any work get done. However, whatever we do, we are to do it as if we are doing it for Jesus. While we may not like deep frying chicken and getting hot oil splashed on our hands, with a never content boss telling you how to do something better than you are doing it, we should do it with the mindset that we are doing it as unto Christ. This applies the same idea as Radrack, Meshack, and Abendego. While they were working in a chocolate factory, and listened to what their boss told them to do, when it came time to bow down and worship the Bunny, they knew that this was not something that would please God, so they obeyed God over man. While man would say, just bow to the idol and dont mean it in your heart, they knew God would like for them to bow at all, that He wanted them to stand up for what they believed in.

I need to be more bold with my faith because what I don't say can harm those around me.
